AI localization services

We help you launch an AI product in a new market. Native speakers translate and test your prompts and interface, check what the model says in each language, and write local test sets that show where it still sounds foreign or gets local details wrong.

What AI localization covers

AI localization is the work of making an AI product feel native in another language and market. Translating the interface is the easy part. The model also has to answer in the right register, use local date, number and currency formats, follow local rules and refer to places, holidays and services people there actually use.

Most models are strongest in English. A quick check by native speakers before launch shows you how far behind each market is and gives you the data to close the gap.

What we do

Pick the parts you need for each market.

  • Prompt localization

System prompts and prompt templates adapted for each language, then tested to check the model still behaves as intended.

  • Interface and help content

App strings, onboarding and help articles translated in JSON, XLIFF or your TMS, and checked on screen. More on software localization.

  • Answer review

Model answers in each language rated for accuracy, fluency, tone and local fit, with corrections.

  • Local test sets

Questions written by people in the market about local rules, services, holidays and habits.

  • Style guides per market

Rules for formality, terms, names and formats that your writers and your model prompts can follow.

  • Market readiness report

Where each language stands against English, with examples of the failures that matter most.

How an AI localization project runs

We start by agreeing what good looks like in each market.

  1. Markets

The languages, regions, product areas and audience for each launch.

  2. Style rules

Formality, terminology and format rules agreed per market.

  3. Localize

Prompts, strings and content translated and adapted.

  4. Test

Native speakers use the product and review its answers.

    Market check QA
  5. Report and fixes

Issues by market and severity, with corrected examples.

Questions about AI localization

What is AI localization?

AI localization is adapting an AI product, such as a chatbot, assistant or AI feature, for users in another language and market. It covers the interface, the prompts that steer the model and the model's answers, which need the right tone, formats and local knowledge.

Is translating the system prompt enough?

Usually not. A translated prompt can change how the model behaves, and the model may still answer with the wrong formality, formats or local facts. We test the model's answers after localizing the prompt.

Which file formats do you work with?

JSON, XLIFF, YAML, PO, CSV and spreadsheets for strings and prompts, or we work directly in your translation management system if you give us access.

Can you test the product before launch?

Yes. Native speakers in each market use the product, review its answers and log issues by severity, so you can decide which markets are ready.

Plan a market check

Tell us the product and the markets you are launching in, or book a call. We review a sample of answers per market and report what needs fixing.
