Simplified or Traditional Chinese
Written Chinese comes in two scripts. Simplified Chinese is used in Mainland China and Singapore. Traditional Chinese is used in Taiwan and Hong Kong, and the two places use different words for many everyday and technical terms. Converting Simplified text to Traditional with software changes the characters but not the vocabulary, so readers in Taiwan or Hong Kong can tell.
We use a translator from the market you're writing for, and for Taiwan and Hong Kong we produce separate versions when the audience needs it.

Questions about Chinese translation
Should we use Simplified or Traditional Chinese?
Use Simplified Chinese for readers in Mainland China and Singapore, and Traditional Chinese for Taiwan and Hong Kong. If you sell in both Taiwan and Hong Kong, consumer-facing text usually needs a version for each.
Can you convert Simplified Chinese to Traditional?
Software can convert the characters, but it doesn't change vocabulary that differs between markets. We have a native linguist adapt the converted text, which costs less than a new translation.
Do you translate Chinese into English?
Yes. Native English translators translate Chinese documents, contracts and reports into English, and a second linguist checks them.
How much does Chinese translation cost?
English to Chinese is priced by English word count; Chinese to English is usually priced by Chinese character count. The subject and deadline also matter. You get a fixed price in writing before work starts.
