    Questions from linguists

Do I need a translation degree?

No. We look at your native language, your experience and how you do on a short test. A degree or certification helps, but practical experience in a subject counts too.

    Can I work from anywhere?

Yes. Freelance translation, review, annotation and rating work is remote. Some interpreting work is on site in the city where the event is held.

How soon will I hear back?

We contact applicants when work in their languages and subjects comes up. That can be soon for in-demand pairs, or later for less common ones. We keep your details on file for future projects.
