Who these apps are for
Publishers and education companies come to us when their content already exists in print or as a course and they want it in an app that students, children or staff can use on a phone or tablet. We build the app, convert the content and translate it, so one team handles all three.
If you only need eBooks for the Kindle store or Apple Books, you don't need an app. See eBook conversion.

Questions about learning apps
Can you turn our printed books into an app?
Yes. We take your InDesign files or PDFs, rebuild the pages for phone and tablet screens, add audio and exercises if you want them, and put the titles into a library inside the app.
Which platforms do you build for?
iOS and Android phones and tablets, and web browsers. Most clients choose one codebase that runs on both iOS and Android, which keeps the cost of updates down.
Can the app work offline?
Yes. Titles can be downloaded once and read without a connection, and progress syncs when the device is back online.
Who owns the app and the code?
You do. The app is published under your own App Store and Google Play accounts, and you get the source code at handover.
How much does an educational app cost?
It depends on the features, the number of titles and the number of languages. A reading app built on a simple template costs much less than a custom app with accounts and a teacher dashboard. We quote in phases after a scoping call.
Tell us about your app
Send the titles or course you want in an app, or book a call. We reply with a phased quote and a timeline.
