Who we work for
Giga Translations is a language services company with offices in London, Davie in Florida, and Gurugram in India. Translation agencies, publishers and e-learning teams send us content to translate and the files it lives in.
Every project has one project manager, and a second person checks the work before it goes back to you. Agencies can have the work delivered under their own name.

How we price and schedule work
Every project gets a fixed quote and a delivery date in writing before it starts. These are the things that set them.
- Size of the jobWord count for translation, page count for layout, and running time for audio and video.
- LanguagesEach language pair is priced on its own. Rarer languages and scripts that need special handling can take longer to staff.
- Source filesEditable files cost less to work on than scanned PDFs or images, which need OCR or a rebuild first.
- What you need backPrint PDFs, packaged files, SRT subtitles and SCORM packages each need different finishing work.
- Review roundsOur second-linguist check comes with every project. Extra rounds with your own reviewers are agreed up front.
- DeadlineA tight deadline may need more people on the job. If it does, the quote says so and shows the cost.

Questions about our services
How do you price a project?
We quote each project on its own, based on the size of the job, the languages, the source files, what you need back and the deadline. You get a fixed price and a delivery date in writing before anything starts.
Can one team handle the translation and the layout?
Yes. Our translators and DTP designers work on the same project, so a line that doesn't fit goes straight back to the translator and gets fixed in the file. You review one set of finished pages instead of a translation and a layout separately.
Do you work white-label for translation agencies?
Yes. We deliver with no Giga branding and deal only with you, never with your client. We follow your file naming, delivery rules and CAT tool workflow.
Do you sign NDAs?
Yes. Send your NDA with your first files, or ask for ours, and we'll sign it before we open anything else you send.
Which languages do you work in?
All major European and Asian languages, plus right-to-left languages such as Arabic, Hebrew, Farsi and Urdu. We also cover many smaller languages, including Tigrinya, Somali, Karen, Rohingya, Pashto and Kirundi. If yours isn't on a service page, ask us.
How fast can you turn work around?
It depends on the size of the job and the languages. The quote gives you a delivery date, and we agree it with you before we start. If your deadline is close, say so when you send the files or book a call, and we'll look at it first.
Not sure which service you need?
Tell us what you have and where it needs to end up. We'll suggest the right service and send a quote.
